چکیده

Studies describing reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) assay-based infection control strategies (LAMP-based ICSs) for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) are limited. We reviewed the medical records of cases in which RT-LAMP was performed. Standard ICSs and LAMP-based were implemented during study period. The intended to impose longer periods precautions (ICPs) specific patients, such as those with a history exposure COVID-19 patients and/or bilateral ground glass opacities (bGGO) on chest computed tomography (CT). Of 212 included 13 confirmed diagnostic cohort, (P <0.0001) CT bGGO = 0.0022) identified significant predictors COVID-19. In 173 hospitalized results first negative, duration ICPs significantly high clinical index suspicion than remaining 0.00046 P 0.0067, respectively). Additionally, no indicating nosocomial spread occurred Establishing comprehensive system that combines rational standard might be useful preventing spread.

Reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification assay for rapid detection of Bovine Rotavirus

BACKGROUND Bovine rotavirus (BRV) infection is common in young calves. This viral infection causes acute diarrhea leading to death. Rapid identification of infected calves is essential to control BRV successfully. Therefore development of simple, highly specific, and sensitive detection method for BRV is needed. RESULTS A reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) ...

Reverse transcription-loop-mediated isothermal amplification assay for rapid detection of hepatitis E virus.

The one-step single-tube betaine-free reverse transcription (RT)-loop-mediated isothermal amplification assay was developed for rapid diagnosis of hepatitis E virus. This assay amplified the target gene in less than 45 min (even as short as 20 min) under isothermal conditions at 63 degrees C, and the sensitivity of this assay was 100-fold greater than that of RT-PCR. This assay demonstrated a d...

A Reverse Transcription Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification Assay Optimized to Detect Multiple HIV Subtypes

Diagnostic methods for detecting and quantifying HIV RNA have been improving, but efficient methods for point-of-care analysis are still needed, particularly for applications in resource-limited settings. Detection based on reverse-transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) is particularly useful for this, because when combined with fluorescence-based DNA detection, RT-LAMP ...

A reverse transcriptase-loop mediated isothermal amplification assay (RT-LAMP) for rapid detection of bovine viral diarrhea virus 1 and 2

Bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) is a pathogen that infects cattle, and is globally important. It causes substantial financial losses to the livestock industry. In the current study, a one-step reverse transcriptase-loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) assay was set up for rapid and efficient detection of BVDV. For this purpose, four primers were designed to recognize six distinct...
